STUDIO 9’s very first large commercial design project! This project is dear to our hearts. This non-profit organization is in the heart of East LA – in the Boyle Heights community. The 5,000 square foot office was designed for a non-profit organization that focus on building communities, asset development, and financial empowerment for the residents of East LA and Boyle Heights. Their organization is composed by different departments which is represented by each color in their logo. Each office space/department was color coordinated using their brand colors; using those colors through their workstations, seat pan on desk chair, and structural columns that were dressed in glass tile. Their breakroom cabinetry was custom designed to house dual built-in microwaves (lunch rush hour) condiments, utensils, a snack bar, and a coffee & tea station for their employees to enjoy.
